Literature Text

Every nightmare begins with a causing factor to bring out the worst of you, that is to say the worst of you is grabbed by your unconscious mind.

There is a queen who seeks those fragile minds, the one willing to be succumbing to anything and everything. She sits in her marble white, double-sided chair. There is an astonishing crest on the top front of the chair, just above her hair, it is branded in bright black and it's design was carefully crafted so that anyone who entered the hall, would be fixated looking at that and not the eyes of the delirious queen.

The queen has only one command, and always waiting to say it at the right moment. She never speaks casually; neither does she say more than she has to. To her, the world outside is dull, because too many colors penetrates everything that is shined by the sun. Instead, she wants everything shined by her presence, that is why the hall she sits is clouded with gloomy darkness and the chair, pale white is source of light!

She sits and waits, and waits... and waits.

Until.... the worst happens.

The massive doors in front of the queen, opens with a small creak and the wind rushes inside the room. While the wind is rustling through the room, as if it was purifying the smell of darkness, it vanishes at the other end of the hall.

A teenage girl walks in, and her heels click the rusty floor as she gets into the room. The first thing she saw was the black crest of the chair. She was preoccupied, while staring at it, as she walked toward the queen.

She breaks the silence, by demanding.

"I need your help. I heard you can do anything. Is it true you've been sitting there for the past century?"

The queen slowly raised her beautiful face to see the girl, from staring the floor. She responded sufficiently.

"Yes."

"Great! So I need you to make this guy fall in love with me. He's handsome, strong, and lives in another country. He is also rich, and has so many pretty horses. I want him, and his face is the cutest thing, I've ever seen! But how are YOU going to make this happen?"

"Give me your mind." declared the queen.

"Pardon? What do you mean my mind, I was told, you'd give me a potion of love or something like that." rebutted the girl.

"Touch the chair." instructed the queen.

"That is all? Okay, so I'll touch the chair and you'll give me what I want, right?" clarified the girl.

"Yes." re-assured the queen.

The girl approaches the silent halls, once again, and as she step closer, so does her heels begins to click louder, and echoes through the room. She begins to feel nervous, and decides looks down at the floor for a bit to think clearly.

Once she became at an arm's length to the queen she decided to look up at the crest she admired before she entered the room. In fright, she gasped at what she looked. She noticed that the crest was actually the queen's hair was sucked in there.

The queen smiled wickedly for the first time she saw her gasp, and in an instant she reached her arm to pull it to the chair. As the queen did so, the teen girl moved forward, and forcefully touched the chair.

In a matter of instant, the chair reacted and began to spin around, to reveal what was on the other side. It was monstrous massive black hair, grown at full human length! It opened its mouth and it spoke in a grudging commanding tone.

"MISERY!"

The hair lashed out and began to take over the teen girl's body, by entering inside her nose and mouth. Muffling her cries and despair calls. Eventually, the hair swallows entirely her body inside the massive pile of hair behind the chair.

The queen exhale with a relief and said.

"Misery is love, despair is what I become."

The queen's massive black giant hair on the other side of the chair became a haunting shadow that diffused into the queen from behind.

The Queen of Despair gained another life for another century, perfect timing to let her grow her hair again.

Wow. I love this.
I kept picturing a dark Disney type of princess movie.
